Dear Students,

The Sports Center and Sports Office of the University of Miskolc is once again organizing the Outdoor Small-Pitch Football Championship in the second semester of the 2024/25 academic year.

Our goal is to provide students, faculty, and staff with the opportunity for regular sports activities in a high-quality championship setting while expanding organized recreational sports opportunities.

Who Can Participate?

The championship is open to full-time and part-time students as well as full-time employees of the University of Miskolc. Both male and female players are welcome to join.

1. Registration

Deadline: February 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM

2. Registration Fee

Fee: 10,000 HUF/team
Deposit: An additional 10,000 HUF/team must be paid at the captains' meeting. This deposit will be refunded if the team plays all matches and presents the signed receipt at the end of the tournament.

3. Venue & Schedule

Location: Matches will take place on the two artificial turf fields of the University of Miskolc Football Arena. In exceptional cases, games may be played on the adjacent rubberized courts.

Tournament Period: March 3 – April 11, 2025 (subject to change based on the number of registered teams).
Match Days & Times: Monday – Thursday, between 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Captains’ Meeting
Date: February 25, 2025, at 5:30 PM
Location: Upstairs meeting room of the Sports Hall
At this meeting, team captains will receive the match schedule and final tournament rules.

4. Awards & Prizes

• Challenge Cup (Winner’s Trophy)
• Medals & Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams
• Top Scorer Trophy – Awarded to the player with the most goals
• Best Goalkeeper Trophy – Voted by team captains (no self-nominations)
• Fair Play Award – Given to the most sportsmanlike team, based on referees’ and teams’ feedback
• Best Supporters Award – Recognizing the most creative and enthusiastic fan group

Stay Updated!
All registered teams will be added to a Facebook group where they can stay informed about match schedules and updates.

New Player ID Cards
Each participant must submit a printed ID photo by the captains' meeting.
Returning players from previous seasons only need to validate their existing cards.
Referees will check ID cards before each match—players without a valid card cannot play.

Free Training Sessions
Each team can book two free training sessions on the artificial turf fields (Monday–Thursday, 4:00–5:00 PM).

Rules & Disciplinary Regulations
Any disputes not covered in the tournament rules will be resolved by the Competition Committee, following the Hungarian Football Federation’s (MLSZ) Disciplinary Regulations.

Footwear Policy
Only indoor shoes or turf shoes are allowed. Plastic or metal studded boots are strictly prohibited. Any player violating this rule will be banned from the tournament.

Participation at Own Risk
All players participate at their own risk and are expected to uphold fair play and respectful conduct at all times.
